The Role Of DGBPs

DGBPs functions as a virtual marketplace platform to connect African experts and clients seeking their services in a virtual marketplace. As facilitator, DGBPs is involved in all the transactions between experts and clients. DGBPs, the expert and the customer review all the project guidelines before starting the project. DGBPs is responsible for all platform projects and for the work of DGBPs experts. However, DGBPs will not be responsible for any collaboration between an expert and the client, apart from that arranged by of DGBPs.

Protecting your informations and our experts is our tops priorities

DGBPs follow cutting-edge security and privacy best practices designed to provide secure and confidential work. We keep your project and informations safe and confidential.

Likewise, the identity of our experts should be kept secret. Our experts are employees, entrepreneurs who have agreed to make their expertise available through freelancing. Any collaboration between the DGBPs, the client and the expert will be done confidentially for a common interest. Disclosing the identity of an expert to a third party will immediately exclude the project from any notion of confidentiality. Any exchange of mails or telephone conversations without immediate notification to DGBPs, between an expert and a client is considered null and not under the responsibility of DGBPs.

DGBPs’ Payment Terms

Taking into account the realities of our continent, we have defined different flexible payment methods. We have established DGBPs collection points all over the world to facilitate payments. All projects will be paid directly to DGBPs (by an agreement mail in advance between the client and DGBPs). No payment will be accepted between the client and the expert. DGBPs waives any responsibility for payment between the expert and the client. The terms of the budget and payment will be defined before any project starts. The stakeholders (DGBPs, the expert, the client) will define these terms together beforehand.

DGBPs notes that each expert who gives prices their service. However, DGBPs reserves the right to present multiple experts who can meet the needs of the client within the client’s, predefined budget. The geographic location of the experts will determine the payment terms to be applied. The various costs of transfer or sending of funds are the responsibility of the customer.

Penalties for delays

The expert has the responsibility to deliver work on time. As DGBPs remains solely responsible to the customer, significant penalties will be applied to experts who do not respect the delivery deadlines. These penalties can go as far as the immediate exclusion of the expert from the platform.

Before the start of any project, a rate agreed in advance between the 3 stakeholders (DGBPs, expert, client) will be applied for each day of delay, up to non-payment of the service if the client cancels the project. In the latter case, DGBPs will have to reimburse all of the funds received from the client, and the expert will have to pay DGBPs the percentage to be received as if this work was delivered on time and paid by the client.

DGBPs legal communication

DGBPs’ notification email is considered a legal communication. Everything will be done by email in the DGBPs marketplace. Emails are considered as a legal means of communication between all the stakeholders and may prevail before the competent authorities in the event of disagreement between the said stakeholders. Also all the partnerships will be discuted between the stakeholders by mail.
